Salma Hayek’s Baby Shower

Bring on the booty! Mom-to-be Salma Hayek, 41, cleaned up at the August 15 baby shower held at her home in the Hollywood Hills.
The nine-months-pregnant Hayek (dad is her fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, CEO of luxury goods company PPR) even received doubles of several gifts off her registry at L.A.’s NoMi Boutique. She got Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black ($325) and pink ($425), as well as two Bloom high chairs ($400 each) and Graco Snug Ride car seats ($130 each). “She was very excited about everything,” said Pia Lindstrom, who attended the party, where guests – including Hayek’s mother – enjoyed homemade Mexican food.
“She was full of pregnancy glow and looked so happy.”
For Hayek, the baby can’t come fast enough. “Motherhood is not for everyone,” she has said. “It is for me.” And though Hayek has not yet announced whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl, think pink: A source says gift cards were made out to “Valentina.”

Cold as Fire
Gimme More
Two new songs, purported to be by our favorite unhinged mother, have cropped up on the Internet and one, Cold As Fire is a shockingly explicit, adult-only affair.The other, her comeback single Gimme More, is a classy, stripped-back, pop jam.
Cold As Fire contains couplets about oral sex as well as a burst of breathtakingly creative swearing. In it Brit sings: “I’m just the girl with the ability to drive a man crazy/ Make him **** in my mouth/ Make him my new baby. “Little legend you can look but don’t touch because/ I’m cold as fire baby and hot as ice/ If you’ve ever been to heaven this is twice as nice.”
The second verse begins with this mystifying rhyme: “The foolishness and f***ery and handling my bizness/ Hola if you hear me/ Can I get a witness?”
Gimme More, which is slated to be Brit’s next single, has a considerably more conventional lyrical slant. Nevertheless the subject matter remains pretty steamy.
“It’s Britney, b*tch”, she says as the track begins.
She then sings: “Every time they turn the lights down/Just wanna go that extra mile for you/You’ve got a display of affection/Feel like there’s no one else in the room.
“You’ve got me in a crazy position/If you’re on a mission/You’ve got my permission.”
While Gimme More will definitely be on Britney’s album, she is still considering whether to use Baby Boy and Cold As Fire.

New VH1 Show

There are not many guilty pleasures as enjoyable as watching celebs ruin their own lives. That being said, the newest brain-child of VH1 is a reality show about celebs in rehab. The first confirmed to join the cast is none other than Jessica Sierra from American Idol. Jessica is reportedly in a rehab facility in Cali, which was confirmed by her lawyer. Other celebs rumored to be joining the cast include Tom Sizemore, Chyna and Andy Dick.
The producers may have hit on something here. I think the show will probably do pretty well. I love to watch Intervention and this seems right up my alley. VH1 has really upped their programming to offer some juicy bits. Although, they will probably need some A-list celebs on here to make it hit the big ratings. Could you imagine if they got Blohan and Brit on there?? I would buy myself a TiVo for sure if that happened.

Bridget Bans Tom!

Bridget Moynahan has reportedly told Tom Brady - the father of her child - she wants “nothing to do with him”.
The New England Patriots’ quarterback - who split from the ‘I-Robot’ star in December after three years together - was present at the birth of their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, in California on August 22 but reportedly left the hospital in tears.
A witness at the St. John’s Health Centre in Santa Monica said: “As he left the hospital with his parents around 9.45pm his eyes welled up. “I felt so bad for him because he was upset.”
Sources close to Bridget, 36, claim she has told Tom she does not want him in her life as she feels he neglected her during her pregnancy. A source said: “Bridget wants nothing to do with Tom. The mood at the birth was very sombre. “Their parents gave them time alone to try and work things out, but Bridget is very bitter.”
The 30-year-old footballer has been dating Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 27, since January.
Bridget’s representative Christina Papadopoulos released a statement this week saying: “She is thankful for a healthy baby and is excited about being a mother. “She was very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth and spend a few days with their new child.”

Nick Hogan boasted to a magazine not long ago about how girls’ panties “start dropping off” at the mere sight of his yellow Supra — that is, of course, until it ended up in a hideous heap of metal after he totaled it last weekend, leaving his friend John Graziano in very serious condition.
What’s more, in an interview in the upcoming Rides magazine, Hogan brags that he got let off not once, but twice by cops, after going over 100 mph in one of his other cars, a silver Viper, because he’s a Hogan, and that he didn’t get a ticket on the same trip until he was stopped doing 123 mph in a 50 mph zone. Cops said yesterday that a silver Viper was the other car involved in the accident.
Elsewhere, Hogan boasts about “dusting” a Ferrari, “stomping out” a Lamborghini, and even racing his parents and sister in their rides. He also posed for a snap — with his beloved Supra, which he called “the god of the import tuners.”

Brit Planning a “Comeback” Concert

Apparently Britney Spears is actually attempting to do something semi-productive with her life. She met with MTV execs about doing an opening act for the upcoming Video Music Awards. Criss Angel helped design the performance that Brit hopes will give her a “comeback.” US Magazine reports:
“She’s planning it to be a big comeback performance,” says a Spears insider, who adds that the goal is to make it “shocking.” One early idea that was canned? Performing “My Prerogative” amid a medley of hits, as images of exes Justin Timberlake, 26, and Kevin Federline, 29, and other gossip fodder flashed on a screen behind her. As for a report that she’d do a duet with Timberlake? “Totally, patently false,” says a Timberlake source.
Brit really just needs to get a grip and focus on something she can actually do: be the spokeswoman for Cheetos. Word on the street is that they are offering her some loot to do the gig pedaling Cheetos and she should really jump on it. How can she expect to have a comeback career? I think she has beaten that horse while it was in its grave. I mean, maybe Criss Angel “designed” a performance where he dry-humps her on stage, but I don’t think anyone really wants to see that. You never know, Brit may surprise us.

Rihanna has a new man and I’ll admit this is an unexpected pairing. Rihanna is reportedly dating Shia LeBeouf, star of Indiana Jones 4.
The singer is smitten with Shia — who is filming the fourth instalment of the action movie series with Harrison Ford — and they have been together for a few months.
A source said: “Shia and Rihanna are officially a couple. It’s the talk of the Indiana Jones 4 set.”
The pair were spotted out in Beverly Hills restaurant Kate Mantilini on Tuesday.

Corey Haim May Not Do ‘Lost Boys’ Sequel After All

Corey Haim came by the MTV offices last week for an extended conversation they will be rolling out in the very near future. Among many other things, he talked excitedly about his participation in the long-awaited “Lost Boys” sequel, saying he was about to start filming in Vancouver and that he was “honored” to be a part of it. Corey Feldman meanwhile left for Vancouver last week to film his role.
Now however, the return of Haim in the sequel is looking iffy at best. Haim’s manager called MTV after their interview to tell them about problems that arose over the weekend. According to Haim’s manager, “There are major logistical obstacles that exist,” referring to immigration problems Haim may have in traveling in and out of the country. Haim’s manager added that Warner Bros. is currently working to rectify these issues. Click here for a full recap of the sequel as it currently exists.
