Artie Lange Checks Into Rehab

Comedian and Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange has checked himself into rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.

The 40-year-old comedian admitted himself into an intensive outpatient rehabilitation program over the weekend, his spokesperson Lewis Kay has confirmed. Lange canceled a series of stand-up shows and appearances, including his pal Bob Saget’s Comedy Central Roast on Sunday, to seek treatment. A source tells the New York Post that Stern’s sidekick “felt awful for not being there for Bob, but needed to make his health a priority“.

I read an interview with Artie Lange once, and the fact that he is still alive is an outright miracle. I was taken aback at some of the sh*t he had done.
