John Mayer Speaks to Photographers About Recent Split with Aniston
John Mayer spoke to a group of photographers in the SoHo area of New York City Saturday. This is what he had to say:
“If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody,” the singer challenged. “Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met. “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up,” he said. “You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”
“I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting,” the 30-year-old added. “But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.” Mayer reflected on the situation as “the most normal thing in the world – There’s no lying, there’s no cheating. There’s no nothing. “People are different, they have different chemistry, they have different lives,” he said. “It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
John Mayer continued to tell photographers he is tired of being followed around the streets of NY constantly. He said he is not dating anyone else, is not a cheater and would like to be left alone because ‘there is no story here.’

I don’t like him. With the track record of going through women and shruggs it off as “a guy thing”. It’s the mind games that creeps me out. Now, just going by what the media has put out there and reading the interviews of the women he has dated, he is manipulative, controling, and probably a psychological abuser. I can’t stand men like him. It wouldn’t surprize me if he took it further. He loves control. There’s a story floating around that it was Jennifer who broke it off. I sure hells hope so.
