Oprah Says, No to having Sara Palin on her Show?
Oprah’s staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin. Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on, Oprah’s website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because they are backing Obama. Oprah had this statement to make:
“The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, have contributed thousands of dollars to Obama’s campaign.

Now this is interesting, she has had Obama on her show in 2005 and 2006. She’s been at a lot of his campaign speaches and she now says that she wont have Sara Palin on her show till AFTER the campaign is over. Hmmm. Guess we know where she stands.

Well of course- it’s obvious where she stands. It is a bit one sided with the fact that she has had Obama on her show before… but as a Republican, I still think that Oprah is fair in saying that she won’t have any candidates on her show until after the election.. that’s fair. Because she had Obama on before he was officially the nominee. I LOVE Sarah Palin and I’m really looking forward to the election. And I would love to see Oprah keep her word and take Palin on her show after the election is over no matter who wins.

She has made it known where she stands! And you’re right Bethany, my Sweetheart Barack was on BEFORE he was nominated.
Please don’t hate on her because she’s supporting Obama! That would just be ridiculous!!
