Matt Damon just spoke out on Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin to The Associated Press. Damon says,
“I think there’s a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that’s a really scary thing… I don’t know anything about her and in eight weeks, I don’t think I’m going to know anything about her. I know that she was a mayor of a really, really small town and she’s the governor for Alaska for less than two years. I just don’t understand. I think the pick was made for political purposes… Do the actuary tables and there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that [John] McCain doesn’t survive his first term and it’ll be President Palin… It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ‘oh, I’m just a hockey mom’… and she’s facing down Vladimir Putin (of Russia)… It’s totally absurd… it’s a really terrifying possibility.”
I don't like to get into politics on this blog but seriously I wish these actors would just keep their mouths shut. Half of you barely graduated from high school, stick to what you know. We are not interested in your political views. What does that even mean a "really bad Disney movie?"

Yes, Matt is an actor but as stated he is Harvard educated, just like Obama.
The only thing I disagree with is what would happen is Palin is president is way way scarier than anything that would happen in a disney movie!
You wish that a Harvard-educated actor would "keep his mouth shut and stick to what he knows?" Well I wish that a celebrity obsessed blogger would keep HIS mouth shut and stick to what HE knows...trivial celebrity gossip. I'd suggest never blogging about politics again. You look like an idiot.

I think you are missing the point katamaran, Matt Damon and these other celebrity's are using their "status" to influence naive people who have no idea of what these politicians really stand for. They are celebrities they should stick to doing what they do best, if they wanted to be political activists then they should have gone into politics themselves. Robbins, Sarandon, Streissand, Baldwin, Clooney, and now Damon are all are making themselves look so pathetic with their pandering.
Secondly, I didn't think that a man who was an english major at Harvard and dropped out was considered "Harvard Educated"! It's like saying you are a medical doctor but you never finished medical school or passed the boards.
I can't wait till the elections are over. I'm tired of hearing about it. Don't get me wrong. I care about America and the way it's headed, I'm just tired of hearing the heated debates between people.
