So far Sarah Palin is getting an "F" with celebrities. I think about 20 people have come out and bashed her. Lindsay and Sam posted a rant on Linz's official MySpace page denouncing the VP candidate and calling her a "narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe."
They further discussed Sarah's lack of qualifications, once again, in a surprisingly intelligent manner. Samantha must have a bit of a brain upstairs handling the writing duties for the duo.
I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be... Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she's FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land.... Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.Source

Wow, a DJ and an actress have such insightful thoughts. How about drilling and keeping the environment safe. How about drilling to create jobs and stop our foreign dependence on oil. All this coming from a thrice rehabbed starlet who has never had to want for anything. Hollywood needs to stick to what they do best, acting (pretending).
I really couldn't care less what Lindsay Lohan or Samantha Ronson have to say about anything. They are not interesting or doing anything to make this world a better place so they shouldn't talk. They don't like Palin because she's a conservative who is against gay marriage-end of story.
Even Lindsey Lohan isn't fooled by Sarah Palin.
PS Megan if you actually care about the economy (which is totally tanking under the republicans) why would you think voting for another Bush term would be helpful?

The Republicans are working with what a Democratic government (Clinton) left us. We are in trouble because a lot of Democrats thought the unfortunate should be able to have houses too. These people could not afford houses for a reason, yet were given loans etc. Now, we are bailing out everyone and it is the Republicans mess to clean up. I am pretty sure if the Republicans had a say, that money would have never been given out in the first place.

Bill Clinton left the economy with a surplus when he went out of office. Now we (as a country) are in debt. That is what Republicans did.
Bill Clinton had nothing to do with the subprime housing crisis.
PS McCain actually used to cross the aisle. 8 years ago he was a bit of a different Republican. Now he votes with Bush (quite possibly the worst president ever) 90% of the time.

First off When Clinton Left Office the economy was already falling for the last two years of his presidency. Allen Greenspan started lowering Interest rates to keep the economy going as the Tech stock boom started collapsing. Then 911 hit and the Fed Panicked. They cut rates even more. Then Shady mortgage programs like No doc and Interest programs where started. Many people who had no business buying homes did. Homes where appraised higher then they where really worth. A prime example of this is California where people have been mailing the keys to there home to the Bank saying it's yours. they refuse to pay a payment on a home that is worth half of what it was when they bought it!!!!
So tell me how is the George Bush's fault ???

Jason, all of the things you listed began when Bush was in office. Explain again how that isn't his fault. I though the president was in charge, no?
Also, Nancy Pelosi is roughly a million times smarter than Bush.
Oh and Megan, you mentioned the environment in a previous post. Sarah Palin doesn't believe that humans cause global warming and she helped pass legislation in Alaska that allows mining companies not to clean their runoff water before returning it to the environment.
Bush doesn't control the Federal Reserve Muffy. Allen Greenspan used to now Ben S. Bernanke does. So all these things you claim Bush did are just false.
As for global warming. if you think Human cause global warming answer me this. Why has the Global Mean temperature dropped every year for over ten year when it peaked in 1998 as CO2 Continues to rise. Also why does the very Ice core data the Al Gore and the Ipcc claim proves Co2 causes global warming show that CO2 lags temp increase by 80 to to 800 years. After the peak in temp CO2 continues the rise and temps plummet. Explain that.

I love hearing people battle over politics.....even better when only one side can provide some substantial backup and actually support his argument while the other person is talking just to talk. Muffy if you understood politics you would understand that many of the policies that Clinton put in place while he was in office did not start to go into effect and really show results until Bush was already in office and Bush began taking the heat immediately for failed policies.

2. Jason, not sure where you get your information but here's what the EPA says about global warming:

FYI Jason, CO2 is not the only greenhouse gas.

He put an economic plan that favored the richest 1% of the economy and because of fiscally irresponsible tax cuts we now have a deficit.
To fund his war he's bankrupting social security as well.

I'm a republican and proud of it. I don't agree on every issue that Bush has done. But you know what? There will NEVER EVER be a president who supports everything we want and everything that should be. There never has been on either side. There will ALWAYS be things we don't agree with in future canadates. I don't like the fact that Obama has become a celebrity and has shamelessly used that. And the fact that he has never served for our country. McCain has. I like Sarah. She makes no apologies for who she is, what she believes and doesn't sugar coat anything. That's refreshing!
No matter which way this election turns out, history will be made.

Willa, shooting at people is not the only way to serve your country. Serving the poorest among us also serves the country though sadly it appears there is far less glamor in that.

You are so wrong. The Federal Government took in 20% more revenue under Bush then it did under Clinton. The Unemployment rate under bush is also lower then under Clinton. The problem is Spending. If 911 and Iraq wouldn't have happened which in turned squeezed the value of the Dollar which in turn pushed energy prices to the highest levels ever we wouldn't be having this discussion. If your going to post gets your facts strait first!!!
Tax Cuts for the rich is called class warfare It's complete bullshit!!! Everyone in the United States got a tax cut. That's why the economy continued to grow. It's also why the Federal Government took in 20% more revenue over the bush years. When you tax people less they spend more money.

I under stand Iraq happened. Of course you can't see the bigger picture. The one thing people always conveniently forget is the President can only make war for 90 days. It takes and act of congress to send us to war. When we went to war 70% of Americans polled by Gallup agreed with the war. The fact of the matter is our government top to bottom failed us. They have grossly overspent and devalued the dollar.

The Tax cuts worked. The Federal Government took in 20% more revenue then we did under Clinton PERIOD. The united states economy grew more then any country in Europe except Luxembourg.
You want to tax the rich to give to people who don't want to work. That's wealth redistribution and that's wrong!!!!! When you tax the rich you eliminate jobs. The tax increase Obama is talking about doing are going to kill small business. he's talking about raising taxes on business back to levels of Jimmy Carter. Ya the same Jimmy carter that had 22% interest rates for homes and the highest unemployment rate since the great depression!!!!

The biggest problem in Washington are Bills filled with Earmarks. Last year McCain was rated 88% on votes for those bills. That means he voted against them 88% of the time. Obama on the other hand was rates 11% that means he voted yes 89% of the time for those bills. Biden voted yes 92% of the time.
This has been a great debate! It does make me wonder why most , if not all, of Hollywood doesn't vote Republican. If I don't want to redistribute my measly money to others, why on earth would they?
I think Lindsay and Samantha would be confused by this conversation. Exactly what is Lohan doing with her time right now? oh yeah nothing just running her mouth about things she thought would be clever to get some press coverage but only looks like an idiot. Hollywood please stick to your day job.
Anyone who believes that McCain/Palin is an extension of the Bush Administration hasn't been paying attention for the last eight years.
Excuse me but when did Lindsay care about the environment? Pleeease, what a joke. I could name many things she's doing to affect this planet in a negative way. Would someone young in Hollywood be interesting, intelligent, and do things that matter other than think about fashion, designer bags, and hair extensions? At least Scarlet Johansson is getting informed on the AIDS crisis in Africa by going there and seeing it first hand.
