Body of Jennifer Hudson's Missing Nephew, Reportedly Found in SUV

The body of Julian King, the missing nephew of Jennifer Hudson, was reportedly found Monday in the SUV of Jennifer Hudson's sister Julia.

Police found the 1994 Chevy Suburban on Chicago's West Side on Monday around 8a.m. with the body of a male child inside. The identity of the child has not been confirmed, but it is highly likely that it is King. The SUV is believed to be the getaway vehicle driven by William Balfour, a suspect in the murders of the family members of Oscar-winning actress/singer Hudson.

Hudson, the Oscar-winning actress/singer, placed a $100,000 reward on Sunday for the safe return of her missing 7-year-old nephew Julian King, the son of Julia Hudson.

The license plate for the white SUV had been given out in the Amber Alert that was sent out on Friday in connection with the missing boy. The Associated Press reports that the body of a male child was found in the SUV, but officials will not confirm if it is the body of King.

Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson, Hudson's mother and brother, were found murdered on Friday in the home they shared on Chicago's South Side. King, who was in the house at the time, then disappeared. The deaths of Donerson, 57, and Hudson, 27, were ruled as homicides. Police and neighbors scoured the Englewood neighborhood, where Hudson grew up, and transferred custody of a "person of interest" in the killings to state authorities. The Amber Alert listed Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, as a suspect in a "double homicide investigation." Jennifer Hudson, who won an Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2007 for her role in "Dreamgirls," was in Chicago with her family during the weekend. She confirmed the bodies of her mother and brother at the Cook County medical examiner's office. Records from the corrections department indicate Balfour, 27, is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle. Balfour, who had been in police custody since Friday, was transferred Sunday to the Illinois Department of Corrections "based on his active parole violation unrelated to this investigation."
