Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have welcomed their first child, a boy. Bronx Mowgli Wentz - who weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz, and was 20.5 inches long - was born Thursday night.

"Proud new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, late this evening." "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

When I heard the name, I laughed. I'm not that surprised. Look at the wedding they had. A Alice in wonderland theme. I feel so sorry for that baby boy. Mowgli? I want to hear what Ashlee's father thinks of the name. I'm sure he'll do the baptisim. Just thinking of him saying the name, in church. I can't help it, I'd laugh. It's rediculous. Glad all are doing well. I just can't help but laugh at this.
