The topic on everyone's minds these days is how the economy is "tanking." Stocks are down, the economy is bad, this is bad, that is bad, blah blah. It's a little depressing. However, in America, the less you do, the more you get paid. Take Samantha Ronson. She reportedly makes $3 million dollars for pressing the play button on a iPod/laptop. Tough money. Inside sources are saying SamRo is making that much coin because of Linz.

“Sam’s now asking for a lot more money to spin, and she’s getting it easily.”

The other side of the camp says that SamRo would make that cash anyways.

One of SamRo's friends said she doesn't need HoHan to make cash. “She’s always had money, and relied more on [famous deejay brother] Mark for getting gigs booked. In fact, Sam made Lindsay hot again!”

At any rate, it's nice to see that some folks are thriving in this tough economic downturn. I can't understand why CNN is blasting this headline story all over the TV: "look kids, you can make $3 million a year as a DJ - and you don't even have to own a record! Up-and-comers should be ditching those pipe dreams of medical school and engineering and start looking to the real money maker - lesbian celebrity DJer.
