Mandy Moore Talks About Her New Album

Mandy Moore sat down to take some sexy photos with Details magazine, and to plug her new album. The married 25-year-old is now mature in her music and bashed her old songs.

On her new album Amanda Leigh: "The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else's choices. If people don't like the music, then they don't like me—and that's quite all right." On her pop music past, which she now calls "crappy": "I was just told to show up and what to sing. . . . That was late-nineties pop music for you. I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine was. I'm sure there are people scratching their heads, going 'Wow, how is she still around?'"

Yeah I was scratching my head wondering that myself. I mean, so you finally actually admit that you didn't write your own songs but now you miraculously do? Oh yeah, you married Ryan Adams, that's right. Anyhoo, at least your body in Details can sell a few records. Geez, I am bitter tonight!
