The first fall show to be cut is the CW's "Beautiful Life" starring Mischa Barton. The show only aired two episodes and the network announced today that it was pulling the plug.
The debut episode lost about 60 percent of the audience of its lead-in, "America's Next Top Model," while the second episode only attracted 1 million viewers. For now The CW looks to be filling the newly vacant timeslot with encores of the revamped "Melrose Place," a show also receiving dismal ratings. One hit the network does have is "Vampire Diaries," which has been performing well and continues to build its audience.
Hope someone is watching Mischa's ass - 5150 here we come! Actually, this show hasn't been the worst one I've seen this season, I'm a little surprised it's the first to get the axe. Next to Trashlee Simpson's extraordinary craptastic performances on Melrose Place I guess it happens.
