Amy Winehouse was arrested yesterday over The Sun’s sensational video showing her smoking crack. The pop diva looked anguished and dishevelled as she arrived at a police station in a people carrier driven by a minder.
She was held on suspicion of possessing drugs after turning up at the East London nick at 1pm by prior arrangement, before being released on bail at 10.30pm.
Sir Bob Geldof’s daughter Peaches will be questioned by cops tomorrow after she was also recorded buying drugs off the same dealer, it is alleged.
Detectives want both women to give statements against the pusher who is suspected of trying to frame them.

More crack money for Wino! Apparently Amy Winehouse will be appearing nude in a April 2008 issue of the British magazine Easy Living, where she stripped down for photographer Carolyn Djangoly. The picture will show Wino playing a guitar which covers her “southern” regions. Other people joining Wino for the nude photo project are singer Sade and actress Helena Bonham Carter.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts are offering Wino $1 million to perform at an event in NYC hosted by Georgio Armani on May 5th. The event will take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute.
“Giorgio has made no secret to his friends that he would love to work with Amy. He sees this party as an ideal opportunity to sound her out about future projects together.”
Wow. Talk about giving someone the means to an end! $1 million buys a lot of crack. Exactly what Wino needs. See kids, being a junkie pays off - you get offered $1 mil per show.

What’s up with those bumps on Amy Winehouse’s face? The singer has been diagnosed with impetigo, her spokesman confirms to People Magazine. It’s a bacterial skin infection that causes pimple-like lumps – and is “is highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people,” according to the Mayo Clinic’s Web site. And yes, Winehouse, 24, had been prescribed drugs … in the form of antibiotics.

We all know that Wino knows how to party - at least crackhead style. Since jetting from rehab The Hive has been staying in London’s upscale Riverbank Plaza hotel. She apparently refused to let anyone in, but management entered when she was performing at the Brits Awards and found over $6,000 in damages.
Booze was spilled all over the wooden hallway and cigarette butts, countless bottles of champagne and unwashed knickers were all over the floor. The blackened bath had to be scrubbed and unclogged after she dyed and washed her famous beehive in the tub. She had even taken a large mirror off the wall and placed it on the floor. Staff were baffled why. I’m not.

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, OD’d in London’s Pentonville Prison. Blake, as well as six other inmates, were all near death after injecting themselves with contaminated heroin. Doctors were able to save Blake, and Amy drew a tear under her eye for her husband. She was probably just sad that she didn’t have any heroin!
When police investigated, they found that Blake had been selling signed pics of Wino to get hits of heroin!
“He’ll take orders from other inmates then ask Amy to bring in signed photos of herself during visits.
“He usually gets her to write a little personalised note to make it look authentic.
“Once he’s back on the wing he’ll swap these for Joeys [hits of heroin].
“The boys think they’ll get a few quid for them on eBay. It’s not clear whether she knows exactly what’s going on . . . but she must find it strange that all these so-called prison hardmen have suddenly become starstruck Amy Winehouse fans.”
Wow. What a junkie.

Apparently Amy Winehouse will be moving in with the Osbournes - Ozzy, Sharon and Kelly, in the guesthouse of their estate outside of London.
She’s moving in with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and their daughter, Kelly, in the guesthouse of their estate outside London. The stick-figured “Rehab” singer, just out of rehab herself, is a longtime pal of Kelly, also a former rehabber. “Kelly has always been there for Amy, they are very tight,” a source tells London’s Daily Mirror.
This is a great move for someone who is a drug addict - joining ex-drug addicts and alcoholics and living with them. And can somebody tell me what brand of bicycle pump Amy used to inflate her boobs? I am looking for some classy-yet-affordable Valentine’s Day presents. Thanks.

Wino’s plans to attend and possibly perform at the Grammy’s this Sunday was shutdown when the American Embassy in London. Her management has “accepted: the decision and made a statement about how Wino will be working on her recovery instead.
“Amy Winehouse will not be performing at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony. Unfortunately, her application for a visa to enter the United States of America has been rejected at this time by the American Embassy in London.”
Wino still may perform via satellite on Sunday evening.
Accepted? Ha! As if her management could turn over a decision made by the American Embassy. I bet Wino will smoke crack live on satellite since she will be working so hard on her recovery while still in London.

Wino’s hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, sent a letter from prison to his father. In this letter, Blake vows that Amy will be dead in three months if she doesn’t quit smoking crack and that he hopes she will use rehab to help herself.
“I want Amy to grab this opportunity in rehab so we can have a marriage and future together. Because the way she’s going I really fear I will come out of prison to no wife.
“I dread my cell door being opened and the chaplain informing me, ‘Amy’s dead.’
“I have that nightmare three or four times a week. “

Scotland Yard has reportedly began an investigation into the video that depicts Amy Winehouse smoking crack. Police will decide if any charges should be brought against Winehouse, after receiving the video from The Sun. Wino’s dad released this statement regarding the video:
“Your video of Amy taking drugs may well be the best thing that has ever happened to her,” the newspaper quoted him as saying.
Her record label, Universal Records, also released a statement regarding the video:
“We are deeply disappointed and upset by these latest revelations and are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems.”
Ok, maybe I’m not a drug purist, but if you are semi-wealthy, why would you smoke crack? That seems so low class. At least do coke or some sort of pill.

Amy Wino was filmed smoking crack in her house. She apparently had a 19-minute binge that included smoking crack and also snorting powdered ecstasy and cocaine. She admittedly then popped six Valium’s to “bring myself down.” A friend of Amy’s had this to say:
Amy is locked in a nosedive towards oblivion — she is killing herself. The video shows a woman completely out of control.

Substance abuse aficionado Amy Winehose claimed that being a drunk is worse than being addicted to heroin! From an upcoming issue of OK! Magazine:
“Drinking long-term is a lot worse than doing heroin. Alcohol’s a real poison.”
Staying true to her song, Amy has said that she has no intentions of going back to rehab either.
I’m of the school of thought where if you can’t sort something out for yourself then no one can help you. I don’t know whether that’s because I’m a strong woman.
“If I go to the gym and I have a drink, I’m lovely to be around and really sweet. But if I haven’t been training or if there’s something bothering me, I’m a terrible drunk.”
Ok, first off, having watched many a Intervention episode, I can’t really believe that alcohol is worse than heroin. A number of the heroin junkies on the show OD and die at a young age. The drunks manage to live out a long life in a drunken stupor. The not going back to rehab thing - I am a believer that some people can sort out addictions by themselves; Amy Winehouse isn’t one of them. She will most likely snort, shoot, drink or smoke anything she can get her hands on.

Apparently Pete Doherty has a new woman in his sights - Amy Winehouse. Friends claim that Petey showed up at Wino’s house sporting a kitten for her! Wino apparently didn’t want any of Pete’s crackhed-love and kicked him out.
Doherty delivered his bombshell and said he was falling for Amy. The mad rocker even asked for a Christmas kiss.
A friend of Pete’s explained: “Pete has had a thing for Amy for a while. When Pete falls for someone, he gets completely lost in the moment. He said he couldn’t stop himself from telling Amy he fancied her. But he’s upset that he made her cry. Pete said Amy burst into tears when he revealed his feelings and said she was in love with her husband Blake.
“She asked Pete to leave straight away. He did, but he left the kitten behind. Amy’s friends are now taking care of the kitten while she is on holiday and they’ve called it Lucky”.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been released on police bail after being arrested earlier in the day. She was being questioned in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “A 24-year-old woman has been bailed to return to an east London police station on a date in early March pending further inquiries.”
Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently remanded in custody on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to an assault case. Sky’s crime correspondent Martin Brunt said the Back To Black star was arrested “by appointment” at a police station in east London. “It is not an unexpected move,” Brunt said.

Wino has promised that she will enter a detox and rehab program at the beginning of the year. She will reportedly enter a one-week detox in Israel, but only after she has had one last blow-out (no pun intended) Christmas party at her home in East London. A source said:
“She wants to give the performance of her life in LA. But she’s going to throw a party over Christmas — which will probably be a messy affair.”
Messy no doubt. Imagine an Amsterdam alley at 3 A.M. and that will be Wino’s party. In the spirit of Christmas, of course. I can’t really see how a measly one-week detox will do that much? Doesn’t Wino need to spend a solid three years or so in rehab to re-compose herself? I wouldn’t be surprised if she O.D.’s at this party. It’s a fashionable way to end out the year though.

Apparently retarded behavior must run in the Winehouse family. So Amy’s dad Mitch reportedly smashed Pete Doherty over the head with his own guitar! That’s mob-style. Petey was at Amy’s gig in Brixton, England last week and bumped into Amy’s dad.
Apparently Mitch took Pete to one side and warned him to leave his daughter alone (just like a scene out of ‘Eastenders’ or something) before telling him that he was the last person she needs at the moment (seeing as the second to last is currently tucked up in prison).
Pete began ’smirking’, obviously a facial expression he’s familiar with (having actually gone out with Kate Moss and avoided prison despite repeatedly breaking the law) until Mitch wiped that smirk right off his smug face. He smacked him across his head with his guitar and (probably) sent his trilby flying.
Amy’s dad might almost be as crazy as her ass, but at least he puts his craziness to some good use. Petey could probably use several smackings over the head to knock some sense into him. Or to loosen all the remnants of heroin and crack from his system.
