Actress Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was under police custody Thursday after allegedly bouncing a $250,000 check, TMZ.com reports. Follieri, a real estate developer, apparently went willing to the NYPD and has since been released, according to the report.
“He went willing to a precinct – he was not brought by police — and he was not handcuffed.” “This is a misunderstanding that his lawyers are already sorting out.” A Washington, D.C. court recently ordered Follieri to pay a public-relations firm $250,000 for work done on his behalf, TMZ reports. In 2007, Follieri denied accusations by Ron Burkle that he squandered $1.3 million.

Anne Hathaway was looking rather leggy at the American Museum of Natural History’s Winter Dance last night. Apparently the event was actually a dance with a DJ and the whole nine. It also served as a fundraiser for the American Museum of Natural History. I admire how Anne Hathaway always looks classy and doesn’t fake-n-bake herself to excess.
