He’s No Ronald McDonald
David has been talking about the infamous video of himself drunkenly eating a hamburger while on the floor shirtless and being filmed by his 17-year-old daughter. Apparently David was shown the video in order to give him a wake-up call about his life. According to The Hoff, the video has brought him “closure” to that chapter of his life.
“It was really nonsensical and none of that needed to happen. But in the end, you know, I tried to find a reason for it all and I found that reason. And that reason was that everything had to come to some sort of closure to move on. That has helped.”
Ahhhh yes…..closure. Nothing spells closure like a video taped by your 17-year-old daughter of you shirtless, drunk and writhing on the floor wrestling a hamburger into your mouth. To me that spells something much more like Alcoholics Anonymous. But hey, like any good rep, Hoff’s rep managed to attempt to spin a disaster into a somewhat positive thing. I can imagine the look on Hoff’s face when his rep said “lets make this about closure.”
