With her reality show Denise Richards: It’s Complicated set to bow May 26, Denise Richards is clearing the air about what really happened between her and Richie Sambora when he was married to Heather Locklear.
Calling into Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show to promote it, (Seacrest is producing her show), Richards, 37, said she remained friends with Sambora after her friendship with his then-wife Locklear had dissolved.
A relationship blossomed with the musician after Richards and Sambora simultaneously went through “awful” divorces and cared for ill parents.
At the time, said Richards, she “followed my heart,” but asserted that nothing happened while he was a taken man. “I did not interfere with their marriage,” she said. She and Sambora remain friends.

Denise Richards may focus on staying (and looking) fit – but she’ll never complain about her weight in front of her daughters. “I’ll never talk about weight around them,” the actress tells Shape magazine in its May issue. “And they’ll never hear me say, ‘Mommy’s feeling fat today.’ That kind of attitude just makes young girls grow up to be dissatisfied with their bodies.”
Instead, Richards says she tries to set an active example for her girls, Sam, 4, and Lola, 2. “Working out is part of my life, not just an I-have-to-get-ready-for-a-photo-shoot thing,” she tells the magazine. “I exercise almost every day. The girls usually play in the workout room with me, so they’re learning by example.” And while Richards has been criticized by some (including ex-husband Charlie Sheen) for including her daughters in her upcoming E! reality show, the actress says she works hard to stay positive.
It’s an attitude she attributes to her late mother, Joni, who died of cancer in November. Says Richards: “Even at the end, when things were really dire for my mother, she was never negative. There was an inner strength about her.” That, in turn, is what she hopes to pass along to her daughters. “I want to teach my girls the importance of picking yourself up and moving forward.”

Charlie Sheen and his fiancee Brooke Mueller won’t be watching Denise Richards’ upcoming E! reality show. “Charlie and I both think it’s exploitative and not good,” Mueller, 29, told Usmagazine.com at an Elle magazine gifting suite in L.A. yesterday. “But the judge ruled in her favor so there’s nothing we can do.”
(Sheen lost a January court battle to prevent their children, Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, from appearing on the show. Richards has assured Us Weekly, “I’m going to be respectful about how they’ll appear.”)
After making her comments, Mueller then asked an Us Weekly reporter to replay them on a tape recorder. “Right that’s perfect,” she said, adding, “because what I really want to say …. Oooh!”
Mueller was also vocal about how she and Sheen spend their downtime. “We love going to the movies!” she said. They plan to watch this weekend’s Academy Awards from home. “We have a theater,” she said, “so I think we’re going to cuddle up in the theater and watch it.”

Denise Richards is joining the ranks of Paula Abdul and Tori Spelling: She’s getting her own reality show! The actress and single mom is set to star an untitled E! series which will follow her around as she “navigates Hollywood, romance and motherhood.” The show, which is being produced by Ryan Seacrest’s company, will debut in the summer.
But before the cameras even began rolling, Richards’s show has been in the headlines. The actress faced objections from ex-husband Charlie Sheen who was unhappy with her plans to feature their daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, on the show. But in January, Richards was granted permission by a court commissioner to include her daughters in the show.
“The show will give viewers an inside look at what it’s like for Denise to go through these ups and downs while always in the public eye,” said Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E!, in a statement. “At the core of this series is a resilient single mom who is trying to get her life back on track.”

Unfortunately, the judge in the Richards/Sheen custody battle has allowed Richards to do a reality show with her two daughters. She probably gave the judge a “recess” he will never forget. Sick. Sheen had objected to the children being in the reality show.
Charlie may be a former cokehead and womanizer, but he was also Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn in “Major League,” which makes up for a lot of bad decisions. And surprisingly Charlie actually seems to be acting like a father here by not wanting to whore his own children for his own gain in some dumbass reality show. Denise, on the other hand, reminds me of a young Dina Lohan in the making.

Denise Richards is fighting ex-husband Charlie Sheen over her plans to include the former couple’s two daughters in a new reality TV show. Sheen has refused to let his girls, three-year-old Sam and Lola, two, take part in the former Bond girl’s TV plans - and so the ex-couple is going back to court later this week to fight it out.
Sources tell U.S. news show Extra that Richards recently landed the reality TV deal, which will revolve around her life as a working single mom in Hollywood. In order for the girls to appear in the reality television show, Sheen has to approve but he has refused. Richards is asking the court to revoke Sheen’s power as the children’s father in this matter, so she can move forward with the show without his consent.

Pamela Anderson recently talked about her “Blond and Blonder” co-star Denise Richards and how the two shared an un-scripted lip lock.
“She’s just sweet, beautiful, fun. She’s a mom too, so we had a lot in common. We were like two peas in a pod, two wacko girls anyway on and off the set. It was fun.
“I just grabbed her and kissed her on the lips. I don’t think it was planned - just happened. It was pretty good, I guess. Nothing special. Sorry Denise!”
Usually these are the kinds of stories that I love, the kind of story that makes you think you can change the world! Alas, when I read this I kind of felt like throwing up. You could chalk their kiss up to the “gal-pal” power of recent divorce, but it is more likely that they are both slightly psychotic publicity whores.

Reps for actress Denise Richards confirm to OK! that the actress lost her mother, Joni, this week to cancer. The 36-year-old star and her two daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, 3-year-old Sam and Lola, 2, was joined by her father, Irv, and other family members during their two-week bedside vigil at the Long Beach, Calif., hospital where Joni lived out her final days.
Her mother’s illness has given Denise reason to think about her own life in recent months. “I was always a people pleaser,” she explained. “And I just finally got to the point in my life after having my daughters and going through a really ugly divorce, and… my mother [being] sick with cancer, that I’ve just gotten to the point where life is so short and I just want to be happy.”

Denise Richards has placed her 5,200 square-foot home in Hidden Hills, California, on the market for a cool $3.9 million. Richards has also purchased a new larger home in Hidden Hills for approximately $4.6 million. Yeah, I guess it’s getting cramped with her and two children, you would obviously need at least a 7,000 sq.-ft. house for that many people.
The house up for sale is said to be in a park-like setting, with 5 bedrooms, an office, a gym, horsebarn, outdoor kitchen and a pool. Denise’s new pad is said to be around 5,600 square feet, 5 bedrooms and a pool. Below is a picture of the new house.
The thing that I was asking myself while reading this article was how the hell can she afford this? Hasn’t she spent all her money on divorce lawyers and Charlie’s hooker bills? So then I scoped her out on IMDB and she has actually done quite a few movies, so she probably bought this place legit. I rest my case, she’s no Britney, but I rest my case….

“Go cry to your bald mom, you [bleeping] loser,” Charlie Sheen wrote to Denise Richards in an e-mail the actress included in documents filed last week in L.A. Superior Court in the couple’s custody battle.
“You are a pig. A sad, jobless pig who is sad and talentless and sad and jobless and evil and a bad mom, so go [bleep] yourself sad jobless pig,” reads another.
“You are an evil piece of [bleep]. I can’t wait to tell the world what a piece of [bleep] you are. You don’t get a [bleeping] dime till this is resolved,” says a third e-mail.
Richards says in her court filing that she was particularly hurt by the one about her mother, who is undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer.
Pictures of Sheen’s “erect penis” that Richards says he used for his profile on sex sites are also included, which Richards claims he e-mailed to “approximately 30 women.”
“I’d love to give it to you any time,” Sheen wrote to one woman under the screen name “mrjonze55.”
Richards says Sheen even visited gay pornography sites - “which I found even more disturbing because I felt that the boys looked underage,” the documents state. Richards accuses Sheen of punching the headboard of their bed once in a rage, and telling her that by no longer breast-feeding, she was causing their daughter, Sam, to “become retarded.”
“He took a large wedding photo off the wall. He had it placed in our garage. He sawed the picture in half and took spray paint and sprayed ‘the dumbest day of my life,’ ” Richards claims in the documents.
A month prior to the lewd e-mails, Sheen tried to apologize. “I have been responsible for some of the worst dialogue and venom-spewing behavior in the past few weeks that I can possibly recall, ever,” he wrote. “The anger and frustration that our situation has generated is beginning to manifest itself in physical forms and cellular regression.” But less than two weeks later, he was sending Richards e-mails such as, “You are a horrible mom. Save your phony flowers for any one of your 30 dogs.”
Sheen said through his spokesman, “I will not dignify the majority of these allegations with any measure of response. On its best day it remains laughable and inane.”
