Mandy Moore Can't Believe She is Married

"Marriage is such a mark of adulthood in my mind," Moore, 25, tells People Magazine. "It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there's such a peaceful settledness about it. But sometimes I can't wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, 'Wow – I did that!' "

Mandy Moore Is Ok With Her Body

Mandy Moore recently sat down with People to discuss how OK she is with her body. She noted that she normally doesn't deprive herself of things, especially peanut butter.

"I appreciate when there are other women out there who are beautiful and aren't, you know, a pound," she says. "I feel lucky that I don't feel pressure ... to have my whole life be controlled by whether I fit into a certain size." “If I really want something, I don’t feel like it’s worth it to deprive myself,” says Moore, whose weaknesses include french fries, cookies, and pretty much anything containing peanut butter. “I’ve never said, ‘I want to look like this’ or ‘I want to look like that’ or ‘I’m not good enough.’ … To me it’s about feeling good, feeling healthy.” “[As a star] you have professionals who make you look a certain way … I can’t roll out of bed and look that way,” says Moore. “I’m very comfortable with the way that I look, but it’s not fair for women to use someone or something as a bar. It’s not reality, for anyone. I am happy to be myself and represent something different for women.”

Mandy Moore Talks About Her New Album

Mandy Moore sat down to take some sexy photos with Details magazine, and to plug her new album. The married 25-year-old is now mature in her music and bashed her old songs.

On her new album Amanda Leigh: "The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else's choices. If people don't like the music, then they don't like me—and that's quite all right." On her pop music past, which she now calls "crappy": "I was just told to show up and what to sing. . . . That was late-nineties pop music for you. I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine was. I'm sure there are people scratching their heads, going 'Wow, how is she still around?'"

Yeah I was scratching my head wondering that myself. I mean, so you finally actually admit that you didn't write your own songs but now you miraculously do? Oh yeah, you married Ryan Adams, that's right. Anyhoo, at least your body in Details can sell a few records. Geez, I am bitter tonight!

Mandy Moore Gets Married!

The pair had a small, simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia. A friend of Mandy's tells us, "She's very very happy." And another source confirms that Adams is completely head-over-heels about her and a changed man.

According to US Weekly Mandy Moore has been dating Ryan Adams since March and now the couple is officially engaged. Moore, 24, has been linked to DJ AM, Zach Braff and Wilmer Valderama. Adams, 34, has previously dated Parker Posey.

Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life," Adams told Us then, adding "unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter."

I guess in all fairness, he can help her write some decent lyrics, so it's a smart business move.
