Marc Anthony becomes minority owner in Miami Dolphins

Marc Anthony announced today he is now a minority owner in the Miami Dolphins.
"I could quite possibly be staring at the first day of the rest of my life,'' the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter said in a news conference in New York. "That's quite exciting at this stage of the game. I'm a little nervous. I'd rather sing. That's much easier to me."
"It's a storied franchise, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm going to try to make it to my seat because my knees are a little weak.''
Anthony becomes the latest celebrity to partner with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, joining Jimmy Buffett and minority owners Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Jennifer Lopez is Suing Stroller Company for $30 million!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have filed a lawsuit against the makers of a baby carriage to the tune of $30 million.
According to the lawsuit obtained by Access Hollywood, the entertainers claim the company used a photo of the couple using a Silver Cross Balmoral Pram Carriage stroller to help sell the product on the company’s Web site and “in various print and electronic media and newsletters,” the suit reads.
Jennifer and Marc have eight complaints listed in their lawsuit, including violation of civil code, misappropriation of the common law right of publicity, false designation of origin, dilution of common law trademark, copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, accounting, preliminary and permanent injunction.

J. Lo Says, "Divorce is not an option!"

Jennifer Lopez is trying to squash all divorce rumors. The singer, who sparked the rumors after not wearing her wedding ring to a red carpet event, insists that she and husband Marc Anthony don’t believe that divorce is an option.
“Every time I’m not wearing my ring, people think I’m getting divorced. Divorce is not, and never was, an option,” she tells In Touch magazine.
Reinforcing Lopez’s statement is good friend Benny Medina, who said, “Jennifer and Marc are committed to the future and to one another. All the rumors are just that – rumors.”

Looks like the rumors are true and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting divorced! Even though they renewed their wedding vows three months ago, things have gone sour.
“Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 14,” a friend of the couple tells us. “Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell.”
Personally, I think that is kinda crappy. Why ruin their fans Valentine's Day with an announcement of a breakup?

A week after rumors of marital problems hit the blogsphere; Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are now facing rumors of cheating. Sources claim that Lopez feared Anthony may cheat on her while on tour, so she sent her assistant with him to ensure he remained faithful
Lopez used to send her assistant on tour with Anthony while she stayed at home with their twins. "She wanted reports back so he didn't cheat on her," says the source. Lopez and Anthony are also reportedly selling the $8.5 million Bel Air estate where they were wed in June 2004.
Previous reports have claimed that the couple, who welcomed twins in February, is at their “breaking point.” A rep for Lopez has denied the reports.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony secretly renewed their vows in Las Vegas early Sunday morning.
Witnessed by two friends, the duo renewed the vows at Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse at 3:15 a.m. Sunday after a night at Pure Nightclub, a rep for the hotel confirmed to People Magazine. The service was officiated by Rev. Steven Smith.
The two have been married for four years and were in Vegas celebrating Marc's birthday.
