A Fan Strips For Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson got a little more than he bargained for when a fan decided to take her clothes off during an autograph session.
It happened "after a period of signing 500 signatures," the New Moon heartthrob tells Ellen DeGeneres on her show airing Friday.
"You kind of get 10 seconds with each person and you never really say anything and I kind of got bored of saying, 'Hey, how are you doing?'" Pattinson tells the talk show host. "[A fan] said in her 10 seconds, 'What can I do to get your attention?' I was like um, just take your clothes off."
The fan's reaction? "She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security," says Pattinson. "I never felt more terrible."
The frenzy is officially out of control!

"I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off," he tells Parade. "I was essentially doing a striptease."

In recent promotional interviews for the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon, Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, have refused to answer rumors about whether they are dating.
“I probably would've answered if people hadn't made such a big deal about it. But I'm not going to give the fiending an answer,” Stewart told Entertainment Weekly.
New Moon is due in theaters November 20.
